State police and sheriff organizations
• State government agencies
• Federal agencies, including the FBI, Secret Service, Department of Defense,
Department of the Treasury, and General Services Administration
Effective and coordinated response to emergencies depends on the ability of local, state
and federal public safety workers to communicate with each other across agencies,
jurisdictions and regions. Nextel has a long tradition of assisting emergency responders
with rapid deployment of Nextel equipment, services and support wherever
interoperable wireless communications will help authorities bring a situation under
control. With a rad center
of 90', the top of each panel antenna will extend to 94' above ground level and the
bottom of each panel antenna will be at 86' above ground level. Additionally, Nextel will
install a 4' microwave antenna at an 80' centerline. An 11'6" x 20' equipment shelter will
be set on a concrete slab foundation adjacent to the existing tower. A chain link fence
will surround the lease premises. Two global positioning system antennas (GPS) would
be attached to the roof of the equipment shelter to provide for communication between
the communications facility and low-orbiting satellites. Nextel will use the existing
access road and it will not require any additions or improvements for our use of the
premises.
a
