f
r
2. See attached 81/2 by 11 reduced surveyor map with color coded areas.
3. In field one sandy dirt will be taken down to the heavier farmable dirt below
this sand area and when this has been accomplished only the final grade and
slope will need to be finalized for final reclamation. The other area shown on
field one on the survey plan shown as the sandiest area will be reclaimed all at
one time with dirt from field two being used_ But field two will stay in farm
production until all sandy material has been removed from site and at this time
final reclamation will be complete for the entire project.
C. POST-MINING TOPOGRAPHY
1. See the excavation/reclamation plan for finish grade details.
2. All slopes, cuts, fills, original ground etc shown on Reclamation Site Plan
3. The only slope which runs south and then turns north that is located two
hundred feet from the two sloughs will have natural weed growth but could
also have a ground cover seed applied to the slope which can be irrigated by
the water truck at needed times during the term of the excavation. At
excavations end there should be sufficient ground cover that has occurred.
D. IMPOUNDMENTS
'I 1. There are no impoundments for this project.
E. DRAINAGE
L The excavation area has existing drainage ditches that run along the north and
east boundary limits of the excavation and with the soil being so sandy there
never has been any storm water or irrigation water run off onto the other part
of this ranch or across the paved county road to the north. Even with the
replacement of the sandy dirt with a heavier soil the drainage ditches will still
prevent any water runoff from excavation site.
6
E
Y
