Fire sprinkler systems shall be installed according to Article 10 of the California Fire Code and the appropriate standards and guides adopted in Chapter 35 of the California Building Code and the California Electrical Code. C C. Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with section 902.2 of the California Fire Code and the standard adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. ❑ d. This planning application will require a fire access read to be completed before the County Surveyors office will file the map for record.Please contact Fire Prevention at 209-468-3384 to schedule an inspection of the completed road. ❑ e. Key Boxes:A Knox box shall be installed according to the local fire department's instructions. f. Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, Standard 10-1 of Volume 2. ❑ g. Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life or property C.F.C. 105.2.1 ❑ h. Mechanical refrigeration systems shall comply with all applicable codes(ammonia,etc.). Other Fire flow of 1,000 .m.will be required for residences 3,500 s .ft.and below,1,500 .m.for 3,501 and above.Flow duration shall be for a minimum of 2 hours.Roads shall be a minimum of 20 feet in width.For on-street parking,additional widths shall e required accordingly so as not to impede into the 20 foot fire lane.
