Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, CA 95205
RE: SU-00-1 (12751 E. Brandt Road Subdivision)
ATTN: Jim Van Buren
Jim:
I have come into contact with a notification of hearing on above property. As
=a homeowner and business owner in Lockeford, CA, I think this subdivision is a
lovely idea. It will afford the opportunity to increase our population by enough
for the school district to enlarge Lockeford School and to hopefully have a town
with enough children to begin a sports program. My children.grew up in
Lockeford and we have traveled many miles to attend sports functions that have
benefited other'towns.
We certainly have services to accommodate 300 new homes. There are
three gas stations, a wonderful grocery store, a full service hardware store, a
wonderful nursery, a large preschool, three full service restaurants and many
fast food and coffee houses. We would welcome the extra spending in the
community and all businesses would benefit at a time when the economy seems
unstable.
This land has been vacant for years and hasn't even been farmed or
anything. Let's build some homes and afford some additional people to enjoy
the slow life of living in a small town.
Thank you for your consideration on this wonderfully planned subdivision.
Sincerely,
Eileen Indelicato'
Eileen's CountryCafe -
