That agreement is viable and has been recorded as a
means of public disclosure and assurance that the fees will be paid. It also allows the owner/developer, upon
approval by the District, to provide alternative methods of payment, including implementation of an owner Mello
Roos Community Facilities District. Execution and recording of the agreement constituted full mitigation for the
impacts of the development on school facilities.
A projection of students from this development has been included in the planning for school facilities to serve the
Lockeford area. At this time, the District is proceeding with plans for an addition to the Lockeford School, including
application for state funds and inclusion in the future bond measure_ Fees collected on this development are an
integral part of the financing plan for that addition. Plans are also underway for a fourth high school, which will
alleviate overcrowding at the existing high schools, thereby "creating" the space necessary to serve new high school
students from the Lockeford area.
If we may provide additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me,or Susan Ryan,at 953x821$.
Sincer ,
Mary Joan amie)Starr
Assistant Superintendent,Facilities and Planning
cc: Ernest and Irene Pestana(by mail)
Baumbach and Piazza(by fax)
Dan Faith,Principal Lockeford School(by fax)
1305 E.
