Mitigation Measure: Avoid or reduce loss of blue oak woodland by excluding the nine acres of blue oak woodland shown on the map entitled "Location of Biological Resources' from within the boundaries of excavation. w i • Monitoring Requirement: Show revised excavation boundary on the Improvement Plan. • Person/Agency Responsible: San Joaquin County Community Development DepartmI Fent. • Timing or Fredluency of Monitoring: Improvement Plan, Mitigation Measure: Compensate for the loss of Native Oak and Heritage Oak Trees, pursuant to Section 9-1505.4 of the County Development Title,which outlines replacement guidelines for removal of native and heritage oak trees. These guidelines require that each heritage oak tree removed be replaced with at least five trees or acorns and that each native oak tree removed be replaced with at least three trees or acorns. Based on these replacement requirements, KRC Aggregate shall plant 1282 to 2460:blue oak acorns over the 20 to 25 year term of the project, depending upon the extent of the impacts to the blue ' oak woodland. Replanting shall be consistent with the guidelines specified in Mitigation Measure 4.2-1 contained in the EIR. This information shall also be included in the Reclamation Plan. j I • Monitoring Requirement: Oak revegetation shall be included in the revegetation efforts done at the conclusion of each phase.
