U-81-14 OF WILLIAM AND RITA SCHUCKMAN <br /> TR ETAL (CIO RAINBOW SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP) (APN: 123-171-10) <br /> (ADDRESS: 1801 BRISTOL AVENUE, STOCKTON) <br /> I <br /> The applicant has submitted the above referenced Revision of Approved Actions <br /> application to amend Community Development Condition No. 11 of Use Permit <br /> Application No. U-81-14 for a day care for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten children. <br /> The revision is to amend the hours of operation from the approved hours of 9:00 a.m. to <br /> 12:00 noon, to 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. <br /> The project site is located on the northwest corner of Bristol Avenue and Buena Vista <br /> Avenue in Stockton. <br /> The property has a General Plan designation of R/L (Low Density Residential) and is <br /> zoned R-L (Low Density Residential). <br /> The Community Development Department has reviewed the application and offers the <br /> following comments: <br /> Neighborhood Response <br /> The Community Development Department has received thirteen (13) letters in support <br /> for the proposed extended hours of operation. The letters indicate their high regard for <br /> the day care center and the convenience afforded to full-time working parents that now <br /> do not have to sacrifice work time to pick up their children in the middle of the day. <br /> Rainbow School <br /> 3 <br /> The Rainbow School has been in operation since 1981 and is located within an <br /> established urban neighborhood. The use type Child Care Services: Child Care Centers, <br /> refers to the care of children in a day-care facility, but excludes uses requiring overnight <br /> care.
