PRESENT AND PAST USE OF THE SITE <br /> The subject property has been used for horse pasture for the last 25 years. For 35 <br /> years prior to that, it-was used as a dairy.. Structures on the property consist of a single <br /> family house, a mobile horse, two horse barns, and a hay barn. <br /> IV. EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE <br /> The existing house located in the NE corner of the subject property is utilizing an on <br /> site sewage disposal system. Due to changes in ownership the exact type, size, age, or <br /> history of the system is unknown. It is apparent that the system at least consist of a septic <br /> tank and shallow leach lines. Due to the cemented nature of the surface soils it is likely <br /> that dry wells are being utilized but this can not be verified. There have been no problems <br /> experienced with the system within the last `i years. It is our understanding that this house <br /> and system will remain as part of the subject subdivision. <br /> The neighbors in the immediate area also use on site sewage disposal systems. These <br /> $ g P Y <br /> systems generally consist of a septic tank, leach lines, and dry wells. Several of the <br /> neighbors were interviewed to determine the history of septic systems in the general area <br /> and to help in assessing the feasibility of the subject property for the proposed septic system <br /> usage. Calimyrna Rd. <br /> LOCATION: East of NE corner of property <br /> AGE OF HOUSE: 43 years <br /> SEPTIC SYSTEM: Yes, the septic system consists of a 1500 gallon septic tank located on <br /> I <br /> the west side of house and an 80 foot leech line running north towards <br /> road. Unlike the surrounding area, this system is located in.sandy <br /> surface soils, therefore no dry well has been necessary to service a <br /> household of two.
