(DEC) for the above-referenced site.
In the report, DEC presented groundwater analytical results from samples collected in July
2011.
Based on the analytical results presented in the report which demonstrate a relatively stable
plume, and predictions by DEC of reasonable time estimates when water quality objectives
would be obtained, it appears that this site is ready for closure. The EHD has discussed
closure of your site with a representative of the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control
Board, and received their concurrence with the EHD preliminary closure evaluation if all
closure criteria are met.
In previous reports, your consultant has addressed most of the criteria and it would be helpful
if your consultant would provide the EHD a short letter report that provides any missing criteria
or identifies which reports have the required information as follows:
• Criteria listed in Table 1 — Checklist of Required Data for No Further Action Requests
at Underground Tank Sites (Appendix A — Reports, Tri-regional Board Staff
Recommendations for Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation of Underground Tank
Sites, dated 16 April 2004, published by the California Environmental Protection
Agency Regional Water Quality Control Board Central Valley Region (RWQCBCVR);
and
• Calculations of the current mass estimates of residual dissolved and adsorbed
contaminants.
Please fill out and return to the EHD the enclosed Record Fee Title Owners form along with a
certification that all Record Fee Title Owners have been notified of a pending site closure; the
EHD must have this certification to proceed with the closure.
r
