Impact :
Land use conflicts between agricultural activities and adja-
cent residential development .
Mitigation:
This impact can be reduced to a situation of nonsignificance
by creating a buffer between agricultural and nonagricultural
land uses and informing potential residents of agricultural-
related conflicts and the County' s Right-to-Farm Ordinance .
Findings :
Specific economic, social, or other considerations make
infeasible the mitigation measuresor project alternatives
identified in the Final EIR.
Supporting Facts :
These conflicts can be partially mitigated or occur only
occasionally during the growing cycle . By virtue of its
location adjacent to existing property developed with Rural
Residential uses , these land use conflicts will occur mainly
on the east side of the project site. The existing roads to
the north and south (Canepa Road and Foppiano Lane) provide-
buffers between existing agricultural uses and proposed resi-
dential uses .
4 . Impact :
The proposed project is inconsistent with adopted policies
relative to ' the loss of agricultural land for residential
use .
Mitigation:
Amend the text of the County General Plan.
Findings :
Specific economic, social, or other considerations make
infeasible the mitigation measures or project alternatives
identified in the Final EIR.
Supporting Facts :
pP g
-20-
