ANDERSON ENVIRONMENTAL <br /> AN D ASSOCIATES INSPECTIONS & TESTING <br /> LABORATORY SERVICES <br /> POOL ENGINEERING <br /> F1POST TENSION DESIGN <br /> July 11,2007 <br /> NOA Project Number: E07094A <br /> Fi SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> CARPENTER ROAD BUDDHIST TEMPLE <br /> 3732 EAST CARPENTER ROAD <br /> F� STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> Our office was contracted by Mr. Poeun Hib of the Carapenter Road Buddhist Temple to conduct a <br /> soil suitability study for the property at 3732 East Carpenter Road in Stockton, California.The soil <br /> suitability study was completed for San Joaquin Environmental Health Department (EHD) <br /> F! requirements. <br /> The soil suitability study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for use <br /> Rwith a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section <br /> 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development. A major element of the field work included <br /> conducting percolation tests that meet the requited absorption rates as required by the San Joaquin <br /> Fil, <br /> Environmental Health Department (EHD). <br /> In addition to conducting the percolation tests, a review of published soil information,geologic <br /> Fii` maps, and ground water information was performed to evaluate the suitability of soils for use with a <br /> septic system. <br /> The formatting of this report has been designed to follow, to the greatest degree possible, <br /> the EHD's Soil Suitability Study Requirements Checklist, dated July 14,2003. <br /> 1.1 Site Description <br /> The Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) for the Site is 479-160-49. The address associated with the <br /> 4 parcel is 3732 East Carpenter Road. The parcel is approximately 9.86 acres in size (Plate 1).
