These septic systems serve the three residences, the meditation center and the existing temple. Table 1. Fil 3.4 Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity In an attempt to determine the septic system density for the vicinity of the site, our office reviewed a recent aerial photograph of the subject property available from Google EarthTM. We counted the building clusters within one square mile of the site, and made the assumption that each building cluster has one septic system. Using this method,we determined that there are a minimum of 50 septic systems per square mile in the immediate vicinity of the site. FThe general use in the vicinity is medium density residential. 3
