A well inspection will then be conducted
and, where necessary, sampling port will be installed at the well heads. Those operations are
expected to be completed within two weeks of SJC receiving well owners authorization to
proceed and the sampling will be performed during the following week. Following sample
recovery, the results of the analyses of the potable water will be available within two weeks
and will be included in quarterly groundwater-quality monitoring reports that will be
submitted to the SJCEHD and the RWQCB.
As requested by the SJCEHD (San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department 2003),
following the initial round of potable water quality monitoring, sample recovery from each off`
the domestic wells listed above will be repeated at quarterly intervals.
Note:
Due to the fire that severely damaged the Casa Mendoza restaurant on the 7500
West Eleventh Street Site, the potable water well that serves that property, which
is located within the restaurant building, cannot be sampled until the restaurant
reconstruction has been completed, Accordingly, if the reconstruction work has
,omwo not been completed by the time the first round of potable water sampling is
SJC
