Additionally, Development Title Section 9-1022.4(c) states "when plant materials are used for-screening, <br /> they shall be planted in such a quantity and location as to achieve an effective visual screen within three <br /> (3) years of installation. If a hedge fails to retain such density any time after this three (3) year period, it <br /> shall be supplemented or replaced with other dense landscaping or an appropriate fence or wall." This <br /> has been added as a recommended condition of approval. <br /> Fire Prevention Conditions <br /> The San Joaquin County Fire Prevention Bureau sent a letter dated April 26, 2018 recommending <br /> conditions specifically regarding pallet storage facilities which are regulations of the California Fire Code. <br /> The recommended Conditions of Approval include requiring a permit from the Montezuma Fire District if <br /> storing in excess of 50,000 cubic feet of pallets; maintenance of a system of driveways throughout the <br /> storage area that are a minimum of 15 feet wide to allow for access; and providing an approved water <br /> supply and fire hydrants capable of supplying the required fire flow to within 150 feet of all portions of the <br /> storage area.
