Will also-be required. <br /> 6) -CFC, Section 2803.5.3 & 310 — Post NO SMOKING signs throughout the facility as required by <br /> these sections. <br /> 7) CFC, Section 2803.4—Electrical wiring and equipment shall comply with the California 'Electrical <br /> Code. <br /> 8) CFC, Section 5001.3.3.1 Properties of Hazardous Materials — A complete list of hazardous <br /> materials used and or stored at this site shall be provided. <br /> 9) A complete review, at building permit submittal, will require compliance with applicable codes <br /> and ordinances. <br /> 10) CFC, Section 1D5 Permits: Operational Permit(s) may be required prior to occupancy. <br /> 11) San Joaquin County Ordinance 4490: Section 4-1007, Lumber Yards, Pallet Yards, and <br /> Woodworking Plants.. Chapter 28, Lumber Yards and Woodworking Facilities Section 2801.1 is <br /> herby amended by adding the following: <br /> Pallets and Palletized Packing Boxes and Bin Boxes <br /> A. A permit is required to store pallets, palletized packing boxes, bin boxes, and including <br /> plastic bin boxes in excess of 30,000 board feet or 50,000 cubic feet. <br /> B. Pallets, palletized packing boxes and bin boxes shall be piled with due regard to stability of <br /> piles and in no case-higher than 12 feet; where pallets are piled next to a property line, the <br /> distance-from the property line shall not less than one half the pile and in case less than 5 <br /> feet. Exception: Bin boxes may be stacked to a maximum height of 20 feet. <br /> C. Driveways between and around pallets, bin boxes and palletized packing crates shall be at <br /> least 15 feet wide and maintained free from accumulation of rubbish, weeds, and equipment <br /> or other articles or materials. Driveways shall be so spaced that a maximum grid system unit <br /> of 50 feet by 50 feet is produced. <br /> D. Pallets, palletized packing boxes and bin box storage, operating under a permit shall be <br /> surrounded with a suitable fence of at least 6 feet in height. Exception: Storage is located <br /> inside the building. <br /> E. Approved water supply and fire hydrants capable of supplying the required fire flow shall be <br /> provided to within 150 feet of all portions of the storage area, in accordance with the <br /> applicable sections of the California Fire Code. <br /> 2. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS (Staff Contact: Alex Chetley, [209]468-3000) <br /> a. The developer shall provide drainage facilities in accordance with the San Joaquin County <br /> Development Standards. Retention basins shall be fenced with six (6) foot high chain link fence <br /> or equal when the maximum design depth is 18 inches or more. Required retention basin <br /> capacity shall be calculated and submitted along with a drainage plan for review and approval, <br /> prior to release of building permit. (Development Title Section 9-1135) <br /> b. The Traffic Impact Mitigation Fee shall be required for this application. The fee is due and <br /> payable at the time of building permit application. The fee will be based on the current schedule <br /> at the time of payment.
