SCREENING: Screening shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> 1) A chain link fence six (6) to seven (7) feet in height with dense plant materials in such quantity <br /> and location as to achieve an effective visual screen shall be erected along the southern and <br /> western property line. (Development Title Section 9-1022.4[a]) <br /> 2) When plant materials are used for screening, they shall be planted in such a quantity and <br /> location as to achieve an effective visual screen within three (3) years of installation. If a <br /> hedge fails to retain such density any time after this three (3) year period, it shall be <br /> supplemented or replaced with other dense landscaping or an appropriate fence or wall. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1022.4[c].) <br /> 3) All storage materials and related activities, including storage areas for trash, shall be screened <br /> so as not to be visible from adjacent properties and public rights-of-way. Screening shall be six <br /> (6)to seven (7)feet in height. Outside storage is not permitted in front yards, street side yards, or <br /> in front of main buildings. The following conditions shall be addressed prior to submittal of a building <br /> permit application to the Building Inspection Division. <br /> 1) GFC 507 Fire Protection Water Supply - Fire low and hydrants shall be provided for the <br /> proposed project by the use of: CFC Appendix B. <br /> 2) If Fire Protection Systems are required they shall be installed according to the CFC, Chapter 9 <br /> and the appropriate standards andguides adopted in Chapter 35 of the California Building Code <br /> and the California Electrical Code. <br /> 3) CFC, Section 503 Fire Apparatus Access Roads - Shall be provided within 150 feet of all <br /> portions of this facility as required by this section. 503.1.2 — A secondary access may be <br /> required. <br /> 4) CFC, Section 906 and 2804.3 Portable Fire Extinguishers — Provide portable fire extinguishers <br /> as required by this section. <br /> 5) CFC, Section 506 Key Box - A Knox@ Box shall be installed according to the local fire <br /> department's instructions.
