The <br /> project description is a use permit application for an off-site wine cellar and <br /> with marketing events at 23627 N. DeVries Road in Lodi. We own property <br /> that is two parcels north of the property applying for this use permit. As <br /> property owners we do have some concerns about the impact of traffic on <br /> our road that is shared by all the property owners. It was our belief that <br /> they already had their permits since they have already had events at their <br /> property. The surrounding property owners were not notified prior to this <br /> letter that they were going to rent out their facilities for events. During one <br /> such event'I was leaving my home to take my daughter to a party and could <br /> not get to Peltier road because a catering truck and party rental supply truck <br /> was blocking the whole road and had to intension of moving. After being <br /> blocked for about ten minutes and realized they were not going to move any <br /> time soon, I decided to go in the dirt and squeezed by the catering truck and <br /> the grape vines. After that incidence I thought what if there was an <br /> emergency and an emergency vehicle had to get through, they would have <br /> never been able get by those vehicles blocking the road. I guess my main <br /> concern is safety and my second is being inconvenienced by traffic blocking <br /> the only way I can leave my home and return. Please take these concerns <br /> into consideration before issuing their use permit. <br /> i <br /> We would like to be notified of any hearing dates for this project.
