CALIFORNIA FIRE CODE The following California Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance <br /> Code requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before <br /> submittal to the Community Development Department for a building permit. <br /> 1) Fire flow and hydrants will be provided for the proposed project by the use of: Appendix B and C <br /> of the California Fire Code and NFPA 1142 of the National Fire Code. <br /> 2) Fire sprinkler systems shall be installed according to Chapter 9 of the California Fire Code and <br /> the appropriate standards and guides adopted in California Building Code and the California <br /> Electrical Code. <br /> 3) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 503.2 of the California Fire <br /> Code and the standard adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. <br /> 4) Key Boxes: A Knox box shall be installed according to the local fire department's instructions. <br /> 5) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, section 906. <br /> 6) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life or <br /> property. All vehicular parking related to applicant's proposed development shall be onsite at all times. <br /> Parking along the County right-of-way for all winery-related events shall be prohibited. It is the <br /> responsibility of applicant to monitor the County-maintained portion of De Vries Road to ensure <br /> compliance with this requirement. <br /> b. If any marketing events are held for more than 150 people, the Department of Public Works <br /> reserves the right to require a traffic study to determine the impacts and mitigation of any phase <br /> of the proposed project. The applicant shall deposit funds with the County for all costs, as <br /> estimated by the Department of Public Works Transportation Engineering Division prior to the <br /> Department preparing or contracting for the required study.
