�. loft� <br /> Description of the Vicinity: <br /> The existing site is 145 acres, APN 4207-210-Olin San Joaquin County. It is the northwest '/4 section <br /> of section 15,Township I South,Range 9 East,Mount Diablo Base and Meridian.. <br /> The facility is the southeast 1/4 section of Township IS,Range 9E, Section 10. <br /> Leaving from downtown Stockton,this facility is approximately 4.17 miles east on Mariposa Road to <br /> Dodds Road,then east 3.7 miles on Dodds Road to the site driveway which is approximately 0.4 miles <br /> west of the intersection where Steinegul Road terminates at Dodds Road Leaving from Escalon, this <br /> facility is approximately 2 miles north on the Escalon-Bellota Road,then east on Dodds Road <br /> approximately 1.6 miles to the facility driveway which is approximately 0.4 miles west of the intersection <br /> where Steinegul Road terminates at Dodds Road. Reference vicinity map, appendix I-D. <br /> The surrounding area is predominantly farming properties. There are several dairies in the immediate <br /> area.The George teVelde dairy at Dodds Road directly north of the site is considered to be parallel on the <br /> shallow water table. The Hooker Dairy west of the site is considered to be down stream on the shallow <br /> water table gradient from the site. The Temple Creek Dairy on Carter Road,is considered to be <br /> downgradient on the shallow water table. The Joe P. Pereira Dairy,which is on Carter Road, east of the <br /> Temple Creek Dairy and north east of the site,is considered to be parallel on the shallow water table <br /> gradient with the proposed site. There are also a number of rice fields upgmdient to the site. <br /> There is a surface drainage ditch called the Angel Drain,at the south property line that drains into <br /> the Fairbanks Lateral,which in turn,dumps into the Temple Creek to the northwest.The Angel Drain <br /> ditch also collects water from areas south of the site. The Cometa drainage ditch drains areas from <br /> approximately three miles to the east. Temple Creek is approximately 1 mile north of the site. <br /> ©Western Design/David Avila 2000 6 <br />
