Past Uses of the Site Based on information reviewed for the Surface & Subsurface Contamination Report (Live Oak, 2018), the Site has been used for agriculture since 1937 or earlier. Based on the historical aerial photographs reviewed, it appears that several small structures or objects were located near the northern property line from the 1930s through at least the 1970s. One or more of these may have been located on the Site. According to Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR) records, six_na ural gas wells are located on_tsubt�ect Site,of which has been abandoned, one is active, .aad four_am-idle__ - Existing and Proposed Septic Tank Usage Existing Septic System No septic systems are currently located on the Site. Proposed Septic System No new construction is planned. On-Site Septic Permit History Live Oak searched the septic system permits on file at the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department. No permits were identified for the Site address, but one was listed on Durham Ferry Road at a location that could refer to the Site: • March 1969 permit for new residential septic system (may refer to different property). Kaiser and Linderman are listed as the owners. This permit is included in Appendix 4 of this report. Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity To estimate the existing septic system usage in the area, our office counted septic systems located within approximately nine square miles surrounding the property. Aerial imagery from Google Earth was used. Each building cluster on the photograph was assumed to have one septic system. Using this method, it is estimated that an average of 25 or more septic systems per square mile are present in the vicinity of the Site. The general area consists of orchards and open, agricultural land. Residential neighborhoods are located over one-half mile to the west and east of the Site, and a nursery is located to the southwest. LOGE 1811 Page 2
