The project <br /> proposes development of a construction office and yard, on 1.75 acres. The project is <br /> located on the west side of EI Dorado Street, adjacent to French Camp Slough, in. <br /> 4 San Joaquin County. <br /> ` Wildlife habitat resources consist of a mixture of agricultural, residential, and <br /> commercial land uses. Significant resources of the project include French Camp <br /> Slough which forms the project's west boundary. DFG files contain records of active <br /> Swainson's hawk (Buteo swainsom) nests within the project vicinity. <br /> If the following measures are made conditions of project approval, the DFG <br /> s would concur with a Finding for a Mitigated Negative Declaration pursuant to CEQA <br /> Guidelines. <br /> 1. A no-development buffer should be established along French Camp <br /> Slough to protect the existing riparian habitat. The buffer should extend <br /> 'I 100 feet beyond the bank of French Camp Slough. The buffer should <br /> extend beyond this recommended distance if necessary to protect any C <br /> on-site riparian or wetland habitat. Additionally, the following restriction <br /> should apply to the buffer area: F <br /> a. No fill should be placed within the buffer either during or <br /> after construction. <br /> I <br /> b.
