Proposed Development <br /> The Mountain House Community Project is a large master-planned residential <br /> community. Currently, a number of subdivisions, designated as ,neighborhoods,,, <br /> containing infrastructures, residential buildings, public buildings and landscaping are <br /> under construction within the Development. The primary focus of this report has been <br /> the proposed development of the 21.2- acre property, located on the northern side of the <br /> Development. <br /> A-3. Objective <br /> The objective of this investigation was to assess the likelihood of the presence of <br /> potentially hazardous materials on-site and in the immediate site vicinity from past and/or <br /> present uses of the Site. <br /> Ate. Approach <br /> _ The approach used to meet the objective was to conduct a site walk/drive-through and a <br /> site vicinity reconnaissance, a review of readily available information, discussions with <br /> personnel at regulatory agencies, and an evaluation of the data obtained. There was <br /> abundance of technical information available for both the Site and the surrounding sites. <br /> Some of the conclusions regarding the Site status have been based on review of the <br /> recently published technical reports for the Development. <br /> A-5. Scope of Services <br /> To standardize environmental site assessments for commercial real estate, ASTM <br /> developed standard practice E 1527 for environmental site assessments. The standard <br /> was last revised in the year 2000, and is designated as E 1527-00. IMFC's services are <br /> generally based on the guidelines and definitions of the ASTM Practice E 1527-00 <br /> (shown in Italic), and conform to the specific requirements of Pulte's Environmental <br /> Review Policy, revised May 1999. <br /> 2 <br />
