Ms. Mo Hatef
Community Development Department
September 13, 2006
Page 2
significantly more study.
2. There appears to be no provision in the plan or in the May 31, 2006
traffic study for screening(i.e., masonry wall, landscaping, etc.)
between the proposed 60 foot roadway extending along the south
side of the "Lockeford Vistas"project and beside the houses to be
built on three of our Iots. Since the proposed roadway will run
immediately adjacent to the sides of the houses to be built on our
lots, the roadway could present a substantial nuisance. This issue
should be addressed.
3. There is a proposed pedestrian access on the western edge of the
"Lockeford Vistas" subdivision that seems to envision pedestrians
exiting the subdivision to an unspecified, unimproved area or to
E
existing private properties. It seems to me that the plan for
pedestrian access needs to be better specified and laid out in
purposeful fashion. If the concept is that children going to the
nearby elementary school would utilize this pedestrian access to
get to the proposed southern roadway, the importance of a well
thought-out plan for the 60 foot roadway and its intersection with
Tully road seems even more important.
I look forward to receiving the staff analysis and recommendations and would
appreciate any thoughts your Department or Public Works might be willing to
offer as to my concerns.
Thank you for your gracious cooperation.
Very trul
Ay
P.
