f
/.3 Description of soil litholo
p gy as noted from test pit by appropriate professional using
industry standard protocol: The soil in this area is classified as Bruella Sandy Loam and
San Joaquin Loam as stated in the Soil Survey of San Joaquin County, California as provided by
F
the United States Department of Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service.
5.4 Discussion of soil lithology as related to future onsite septic uses: The Bruella Sandy
F. Loam has a moderately slow permeability and San Joaquin Loam has a very slow permeability
thus; percolation rate was 42 min/in (See Appendix).
6.0 PERCOLATION TEST INFORMATION SECTION
6.1 Site Map Showing the location, with concise and accurate dimensions of the percolation
test holes on the
arcel: See Appendix.I
P
1 6.2 The Minimum Number of Shallow and Deep Percolation Tests was Performed for Each
Parcel: One shallow percolation test hole was prepared. The shallow hole was prepared by Jake Handel on November 17, 2008 at 7:00 a.m.
On November 20; 2008 at 7:30 a.m. the 24 hour presoak period was started. The hole was filled
with 12 inches of water over the gravel at this time.
Y6.4 Description of the Date, Time and Condition of the Test Hole After the 24-Hour Soak
F11 Period (Hole Still Intact,Hole Dry, Depth to Water Remaining in Hole, Etc.): On
November 21, 2008 at 7:30 a.m. the shallow test hole was dry. Six inches of water was added
to the hole and the hole was deemed suitable to continue. The shallow test passed the minimum
County requirements.
F 6.5 The Test Conformed to San Joaquin County Policy EHD 02-02 (Correct Depth,
diameter,2" gravel, 6" Water Refill, Correct Readings Recorded): The percolation test
conformed to San Joaquin County Policy FHD 02-02.
y .6 Complete Percolation Test Form (Including Readings) Was Provided With REHS
Verification Signature.
