Provide estimates of wastewater quality based on samples of <br /> similar operations or published data. Provide a chemical characterization of the <br /> wastewater and cooling water quality, including biochemical oxygen demand, total <br /> xuspended solids,total dissolved solids, nitrogenous compounds, and volatile organic <br /> chemicals. <br /> S. Provide loading rate calculations for the process wastewater septic tank and describe how <br /> the treatment is adequate to protect groundwater quality from degradation. Because the <br /> facility is proposing to discharge chocolate manufacturing wastewater to the septic tank, <br /> additional treatment will be required. If appropriate,provide a description of the revised <br /> pretreatment system and septic tank/leach line/seepage pit construction and an explanation <br /> of how the wastewater disposal is protective of groundwater quality. <br /> 6. Describe procedures that will be implemented to prevent the discharge of fats/oils/grease <br /> to the leachfield. Describe haw odors arising from an overloaded septic tank or leachfield <br /> will be prevented. <br /> 7. Describe how cooling water will be disposed of.
