I
Dear Ms. Wyels;
Thank you for your letter dated June 5th which 1 received on the 9th, Please feel free to
fax future correspondence to me at 209.931.5186. As you are aware time is of the
essence on this project and your cooperation in expediting correspondence would be
appreciated.
i
I wanted to clarify a few points addressed in your letter.
1, 1 did not request "several times", an exception for my facility. The sole purpose
of my phone call was to request that Tim O'Brien travel from Sacramento to
Stockton so that he could see first hand what we do in our facility. I am 100%
convinced that once you see our operation you will consider it an insignificant
threat to groundwater quality. Tim said that because of Time constraints he was
unable to travel to Stockton and suggested that I bring it up with you his
supervisor as you could authorize the travel. You and I had a similar
conversation. My sole purpose was to request that Tim travel to our site to see
our facility. You also restated that your department could not afford the 45
minute trip to Stockton. "
2. As you mentioned in the first paragraph we have already submitted a RWD
(Report of Waste Discharge). I believe that the most if not all of the truly relevant
questions have already been answered for our project. To comply with your Tim
O'Brien's request for the data will be unduly burdensome doth for me to provide
and for your department to review considering the very low levels that we are
discussing.
3. The pictures you refer to in your file are of the worst cast scenario. They were
taken as we wash our kettle out at the end of a shift.
