Hazelton Avenue <br /> Stockton, CA 95205 <br /> Dear Mr. Rubianes: j <br /> Caltrans has reviewed the above Application (PA-0200428) for a chocolate <br /> manufacturing and distribution facility on the northeast corner of State Route (SR) 88 and <br />'t Fourth Street, Clements (APN 019-240-18). Caltrans Traffic Operations unit provides the <br /> following comments: ' <br /> 1. Please provide Traffic Operations with the traffic trips generated during a typical day <br /> and peak hour by the proposed project. We will need this information to assess any <br /> necessary operational mitigation. <br /> 2. The site plan shows three existing driveways connecting to SR 88. Two of these three <br /> driveways do ndfdppear to be driveways. Instead; they are simply gates Without any „s <br /> pavement connecting to the highway. We can not find any permit in file for these two <br /> driveways except permit number 1986-N-RC-0864 for the third one shown on the site <br /> plan, which is for the Fire District north of this parcel. Therefore, the two claimed <br /> unpaved existing driveways are possibly illegal driveways. To avoid safety and <br /> operational problems within the close vicinity of the intersection with Mackville <br /> Road, Traffic Operations does not support more than one driveway connected to SR <br /> 88 at this location.
