An estimate <br /> of the current water usage for seven acres, using the Consumptive Water Use Chart from the <br /> University of California Cooperative Extension, is approximately 7.2 million gallons per year. The <br /> existing Sierra Higs.packing facility currently uses 4,057,000 gallons per year. A considerable <br /> amount of water is used to defrost the refrigeration coils. The applicant will be installing a <br /> recapture system that will recycle the water and reduce the current water usage by 2,800,000 <br /> gallons per year. <br /> ENYIRONM9ML CONSI0E8MNS; <br /> The Initial Study prepared for this project did not ldentlfy any significant impacts that the proposed project <br /> may have upon the environment. Based on the Initial Study, a Negative Declaration has been prepared. <br /> In addition, a Certificate of Fee Exemption with a TeMinimis'Impact Finding' has been prepared which <br /> states that the project will not have an adverse effect on wiidlife resources. <br />
