SA-93-003 and. <br /> SA-93-004. <br /> We are opposed to the above application and here are our reasons: <br /> 1. This complex is too large for this area. <br /> 2. There is only one access to this plant, Highway- 26. <br /> 3. Will the fumigation plant affect. our wells? <br /> 4. Jack Tone Road is a raceway. Residents can barely get out. <br /> of their driveways , and there have been numerous accidents <br /> in front of Sierra Hills. <br /> 5. When it rains# it's like a lake in .front of their complex, <br /> plus the apple orchards are all flooded. Water stays for <br /> weeks. When they raise this ground up to build the new <br /> complex where will the run off go? <br /> 6. We now have Fairchild Park at- Fairchild Road and Highway. 88. <br /> and it looks like a garbage dump. They made a. nice gate and <br /> that was it. When .the plan was approved, it was presented <br /> with a landscaped area in- the front, We.. are still waiting. <br /> It was supposed to be a dry industry, but now they have a <br /> cannery. <br /> Now at the other end of Fairchild they want to put another <br /> industrial park on 36 acres. We are a farm area not an industrial <br /> park. <br /> The planning department has spent millions on our General Plan, <br /> having meetings all over the county. Were they all a waste of <br /> time? <br /> This complex will be like a cancer on this area.
