NOLA ORCHARDS
GERALD T. NOLA
We do not feel that the findings of this site approval
would be in compliance with Section 9-818 .6, Sub-titles
b,c,and d.
Increased traffic to Fairchild Road: Even though
entrances and exits are now routed onto Jack Tone
y Road, there will still be an increase of .traffic on
Fairchild Road, which is a rural road' not designed for
this influx of traffic.
Commercial construction on this site would eliminate
the use of valuable Class I soil. Since a facility of
this size is obviously being built to serve more. that the
local farmers and:,by the builder's own admission, will be
bringing fruit in as far away as Yuba city to the north
and Visalia to the south, this area would be better
served by building this business in the designated
industrial area at the west end of Fairchild Road, off
State Highway 88 or at another industrial location.
A substantial increase to the noise level of this
area would occur due to the daily activity of this
facility, especially from the loading, unloading and
transporting of products by commercial trucks and the
operating of the large fans required by the cold storage
units.
12525 E.
