(2) The required plans must be complete at the time of submittal for a building permit. Plans must address <br /> building design and construction, fire and life safety requirements, accessibility and show compliance <br /> with the current California codes and San Joaquin County ordinances. A complete set of plans must <br /> include fire sprinkler plans, truss calculations, energy calculations, plumbing, electrical and mechanical <br /> drawings as well as structural calculations. <br /> (3) Due to the proximity to property lines, the occupancy classification and the type of construction, the <br /> proposed building must have a fire rated wall on the northeast side. <br /> (4) Storm drainage piping under the building must comply with piping requirements for drainage piping <br /> installed under a building. Existing piping type must be verified and removed or replaced as necessary. <br /> (5) The exit arrangement and path of travel for the existing shop building and the proposed storage <br /> building shall be show on the plans and exits added as needed. <br /> (6) Analysis of any attachment to the existing shop shall be performed by an architect or engineer with any <br /> recommendations included on the plans. <br /> (7) The septic system and leach line is not allowed under the building. <br /> (8) Based on the occupancy classification of the building fire separation walls may be required. <br /> (9) Pursuant to Table 4-3 of the California Plumbing Code, toilet facilities shall be accessible to employees <br /> at all times, should not be more that 200 feet from where employees are regularly employed and <br /> accessible by not more than one flight of stairs. The plans shall indicate the location of the toilet <br /> facilities and the travel distance from work areas. <br /> (10) Parking spaces will be required to accommodate persons with disability in compliance with Chapter <br /> 11B of the California Building Code. These parking space(s) shall be located as close as possible to <br /> the primary entrance to the building. <br /> (11) Based on the limited information provided additional items may be required before a building permit <br /> can be issued. <br /> 2.
