Item No. 2
PC: 3-18-93
SA-92-62
Page 5
Traffic:
The applicant stated on the application that there would be 80 vehicles per shift; consequently,
the Department of Public Works has recommended as a Condition of Approval that a traffic study
be prepared to identify required improvements for the site entrance and frontage road
intersections at Woodson Road and Jahant Road.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS:
The Initial Study prepared for this project did not identify any significant impacts that the proposed project
may have upon the environment. Since the site is within 500 feet of a hazardous waste site, a Border
Zone Determination was completed by the Department of Health Services, and no significant
environmental impacts were identified. Based on the Initial Study, a Negative Declaration has been
prepared. In addition, a Certificate of Fee Exemption with a 'De Minimis Impact Finding' has been
prepared which states that the project will not have an adverse effect on wildlife resources.
