The proposed school site appears to be <br /> approximately 1, 500 feet north of Lodi Airport. This <br /> location places the site beneath the traffic pattern for <br /> Lodi ' s primary runway. The project site has the potential <br /> for exposure to noise and safety impacts associated with <br /> aircraft overflights. We recommend that the issues of <br /> aircraft-related noise and safety impacts be thoroughly <br /> addressed through the environmental process. <br /> To ensure compatibility with future airport operations, <br /> the proposal should also be submitted to the San Joaquin <br /> County Airport Land Use Commission (ALUC) and to Lodi <br /> Airport Manager, Bob Kupka, for review. <br /> Thank you for the opportunity to comment on this <br /> proposal.
