June 261h,2018 Application #PA-180096 (SA) In response to this application I am asking that the County of San Joaquin does not approve the application. We live in close proximity to this applicants address and we have already noticed more than the amount of trucks being reviewed at this residence. We are also having issues with trailers refrigeration units running all night long and I believe in our current zoning all work has to be completed by 10pm. This is going way beyond that with mechanical work being done on the side of the road all night long. French Camp Road is already over loaded with traffic and with trucks very often pulling in and out of this location it does cause a traffic and safety issue with line of sight being disrupted by the railroad tracks to the west of this location. There have been occasions where a truck driver will go into the middle of French Camp Road throw up his hands to stop traffic so another truck can pull out onto French Camp road.This is a traffic hazard in which I have made complaints to the CHP about. I am also recommending that the county places no truck parking signs along both sides of this area of French Camp road as it is a hazard to all who live in this area when you are trying to pull out into oncoming traffic.The attached pictures will show you the current level of maintenance that this residence receives it is truly a fire hazard and the owner should be cited for this.If needed the citizens of French Camp are and willing to start a petition if needed to stop the smaller truck terminals to move into residences in French Camp. There is another to the east of this project that has not been permitted by the county we ask that you use the code enforcement to enforce all county codes there are a lot in this area that are not being followed.
