I. UNIFORM FIRE CODE The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code <br /> requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal <br /> to the Community Development Departmentfor a building permit. <br /> (1) Fire flow and hydrants will be provided for the proposed project by the use of: <br /> A. Public water mains(Appendix III-A and III-B of the California Fire Code). <br /> B. Static water supply(NFPA 1231 of the National Fire Code). <br /> (2) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 902.2 of the California Fire <br /> Code and the standards adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. <br /> (3) Key Boxes: A Knox box shall be installed according to the local fire department's instructions. <br /> (4) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, Standard 10-1, of <br /> Volume 2. <br /> (5) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life or <br /> property(C.F.C.
