i ` u � i March 31, 2005 NOA Project Number: E05021A 2.3 USGS Topographic Maps The topographic quadrangle depicting the subject property is the U.S. Geological Survey, Stockton West, California, quadrangle map. One 7.5-minute map dated 1968 photorevised 1987 was available at NOA;the same map was available through Microsoft Terraserver. L In the 1987 map, the subject property is depicted as vacant land in a residential neighborhood to the west of Highway 4. An irrigation canal defines its northern boundary. The property is shown to be relatively flat and to lie at approximately 5 feet above mean sea level. L These maps are included in Appendix C of this report. ` 2.4 Interviews An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject property L from the property owner or key site manager of the property. An Environmental Questionnaire and Disclosure Statement was completed by Mr.Lloyd St Mary,owner of the subject property,on February (2 4, 2005. A copy of his responses has been included in this report as Appendix E. L In his responses to the questionnaire,Mr. St.Mary indicated that he acquired the property in 2003. He stated that the property is not currently in use and he does not know any past uses of the property. Ms. Bobby St Mary was interviewed by telephone on March 30, 2005. During this interview, she \ indicated that the storage area on the subject property is where they keep their trailers and garden l2 l l equipment. She stated that no chemicals are stored at that location. Ms. St. Mary did not know the name of the former owner of the property. L An attempt was made to contact the previous owner of the subject property. According to Mr. Del Dorman, engineer for the project, the previous owner of the subject property was listed on the deed documentation as Ms.Vincenta Golosino,formerly known as Vincenta Acain,also known as Vincenta L l Scain. A search for these names was performed through yahoo.com on March 31,2005;no listings were found. L 3.0 PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF CONTAMINATION 3.1 Research Methods LNOA employs a standard practice for review of database information. On a street map showing the location of the subject property,a circle is drawn one-quarter mile out from the property boundaries, Vand street maps or web-based mapping services are then used to determine address ranges for all streets within the quarter mile. All agency databases searchable by address are then searched for these address ranges. L 4 L 6.
