G
` March 31,2005
NOA Project Number: E05021A
L 2.2 Aerial Photographs
Aerial photographs depicting the subject property dated 1937,1952,1963,1975 and 1983 were reviewed
` at the San Joaquin County Surveyor's Office in Stockton, California'. Two additional photos, dated
1999 and 2002,were obtained from Microsoft Terraserver4.
In the 1937 photo, trees line the northern and southern boundaries of the subject property. Up to four
small structures may be present on the property. The railroad tracks to the north of the property can
be seen, and it appears that railroad tracks may run along the current location of Fresno Avenue as well.
The land to the immediate south of the property appears to be residential, while the land to the west
appears to be agricultural, and the land to the east appears to be vacant with one small structure.
In the 1952 photo, several small structures or vehicles can still be seen on the subject property, though
not in the same locations as in the previous photo. What appears to be a large commercial parcel with
y four structures is now apparent to the immediate west. The land to the east of the property is now
L residential.
In the 1963 photo, one larger structure is now apparent to the southeast corner of the subject property,
` and all but one of the smaller structures are no longer visible.
In the 1975 photo,a second larger structure is apparent near the center of the northern boundary of the
subject property. Highway 4 has been constructed to the northeast, and the end of the highway lies
V
immediately east of the property. The four commercial structures to the west are no longer apparent.
LIn the 1983 photo, the second large structure on the property appears to have moved south so that it
now lies close to the center of the property. A number of trees are now missing from the northern
property line. A residence is now apparent to the west of the property.
L
In the 1993 and 2002 photos, the structures are no longer present on the subject property. A
commercial structure can be seen to the northeast of the property.
V
These photos are included in Appendix C of this report. NOA's ability to interpret the land uses is
limited by the scale and quality of the photos.
L
L
'SanJoaquin County Sumeyoi s Office,1810 Hazelton Avenue,Stockton,California.
L °Microsoft Terraserver,2005,terraserver.homeadvisor.msn.com/default.aspx.
L 3 '044
L
