The wastewater holding pond shall be designed, operated, and maintained to ensure that <br /> wastes will be approximately 5 feet above the highest anticipated elevation of <br /> underlying groundwater. <br /> 9. A 2 foot freeboard (from the wastewater) shall be maintained in all wastewater <br /> treatment and stormwater detention ponds at all times. <br /> 10. The HDPE liner in the wastewater holding pond shall be maintained to prevent <br /> detrimental effects of weathering and burrowing animals. <br /> 11. Wastewater shall be discharged to the designated disposal area in agronomic rates and <br /> shall not exceed the average monthly evapotranspiration of the cropland. <br /> 12. The discharge from the wastewater holding pond shall remain within the designated <br /> disposal area at all times. <br /> 13. There shall be no visible standing water in the designated disposal area for more than 48 <br /> hours in any consecutive 7 day period. <br /> 14. Application of wastewater to cropland shall be managed to minimize percolation to <br /> groundwater. <br /> 15. All precipitation from roofed areas, including the holding pens, manure storage area, <br /> and slaughterhouse, shall be collected and diverted away from manured areas to the <br /> stormwater detention pond. <br /> 16. Excessively objectionable odors originating from this facility shall not be detectable <br /> beyond the limits of the property owned by the Discharger. <br /> 17. The waste management methods and procedures shall be conducted in accordance with <br /> the requirements of Sections 22560 to 22565 of Title 27 of the CCR. <br /> 18. Neither the treatment nor the discharge shall cause a nuisance or condition of pollution <br /> as defined by the California Water Code, Section 13050. <br /> C. Solids Disposal: <br /> 1. Collected manure, screenings, sludges, and other solids removed from liquid wastes <br /> shall be disposed of in a manner that is consistent with Title 27, Division 2, <br /> Subdivision 1 of the CCR and approved by the Executive Officer. <br /> c:lckwfilcs\agricultum\agwdm\stagno\stagnowdn <br />
