Obtain discharge requirements from the California Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board, Central Valley Region, prior to development (Water Code, Article 5, Section <br /> 13280). <br /> f. Refuse, garbage and other solid waste material must be stored, removed and <br /> transported to an approved landfill in accordance with San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code, Section 5-2400. <br /> g. A soil suitability study indicating that the area is suitable for septic tank usage and <br /> animal waste must be performed prior to acceptance of the application as required <br /> by Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development Title. A nitrate <br /> loading study is required and a review fee of $390.00 must be paid at time of <br /> submittal to E.H.D. Requirement of the nitrate loading study that two (2) <br /> monitoring wells, one up gradient, one down gradient if the Regional Water Quality <br /> Control does not require monitoring wells. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of <br /> San Joaquin County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption <br /> rates of the manual of septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for on site <br /> waste water treatment and disposal system is required for this project. A permit <br /> fee of $78.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> h. Require a waste and manure management plan. The waste plan to address guts, <br /> hides, heads, hoofs, all other animal parts and the end disposal. The manure <br /> management plan to detail how manure will be handled. <br /> i. Require a water management plan for removal of the salt in the ponds should the <br /> ponds become salted. <br />
