At a <br /> minimum, the O&M Plan shall include the following: <br /> 1. Background Information <br /> • The operating history of the processing facility, the wastewater management system, and the <br /> land treatment units <br /> • Discussion of the character of the process wastewater with respect to potential odor <br /> problems and groundwater impacts, including seasonal variability(BOD, nitrogen, and <br /> TDS);, <br /> • Historical and projected wastewater generation rates, including seasonal variability <br /> 2. Principles of Land Application of Waste <br /> General principles of land treatment and disposal for organic wastes <br /> Identification of key factors influencing the ability of the system to handle permitted loading <br /> rates <br /> Causes of, and prevention/control measures for, odor problems <br /> 3. Waste Discharge Requirements <br /> A summary of key elements of the WDRs, the associated Monitoring and Reporting <br /> Program (MRP), and the Standard Provisions and Reporting Requirements <br /> 4. Operation, Monitoring, and Reporting Responsibilities <br /> An organization description and/or chart depicting all persons involved with management, <br /> operation,maintenance and monitoring of the wastewater system and land treatment units, <br /> including their direct role and reporting responsibilities; <br /> 5. Operations <br /> A detailed description of specific operating procedures for each land treatment unit, <br /> including: <br /> • Wastewater application <br /> • field rotation <br /> • assessing readiness of the field to receive waste <br /> California Environmental Protection Agency <br /> ea Recycled Paper <br /> The energy challenge facing California is real.
