CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
In summary, the soil conditions near the percolation tests appear to be suitable for use
with an on-site septic system. Satisfactory soil percolation rates of 41.7 min/in (Parcel
1) and 9.6 min/in (Parcel 2) were observed in the test locations. No new construction is
proposed at this time. With a satisfactory test, the area 100 feet in radius from the test
location could be used to construct a septic system drain field.
The depth of ground water based on recent aquifer levels is approximately 108 to 129
feet, depending on the season. The ground-water flow direction is to the west-
northwest at a rate of approximately 6.7 to 8.3 feet per mile in the vicinity of the Site.
A water sample was collected from the domestic water well on the Site for nitrate and
DBCP analysis. The results are forthcoming.
We believe the Site suitable for development with the use of standard septic systems
utilizing leach lines and seepage pits.
LOGE 1307 Page 8
