PATTERSON PASS BUSINESS CENTER <br /> BUILDING #6 <br /> TRACY, CALIFORNIA <br /> SECTION 1: INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Pond, Robinson and Associates, R. D. Boyens Engineering conducted <br /> a seismic risk evaluation of the subject industrial building. The evaluation consisted of a <br /> site observation conducted on January 19, 2005, a seismic hazard assessment, a <br /> seismic risk evaluation, and the preparation of this report. <br /> The Patterson Pass Business Center, Building #6 is located at 17365-17401 Commerce <br /> Way in the City of Tracy, California. The project is located near the intersection of the 1- <br /> 580 and 1-205 Freeways on the western outskirts of Tracy. The subject building is a <br /> single-story industrial/warehouse building that has exterior pre-cast concrete tilt-up walls <br /> and a panelized wood- and-steel-framed roof system. <br /> The project was constructed in 1999-2000. The code of record is assumed to be the <br /> 1997 edition of the Uniform Building Code (UBC). <br /> 05005.01 R. D. Boyens Engineering <br />
