<br /> Mr. Fourt has over 25 years experience in geological assessments with the past 14 years
<br /> working on environmental problems. He has a Bachelors Degree in Geology from California
<br /> State College, Sonoma, Rohnert Park, California and a.Masters Degree in Geology from San
<br /> Diego State University, San Diego, California. He has been a Senior Hazardous Materials
<br /> Specialist / Geologist - Manager, in the Stanislaus County Mitigation Program. Work included
<br /> Technical review and oversight of soil and ground water contamination sites. Sources of
<br /> contamination included underground and above ground storage tanks, surface spills, toxic pits,
<br /> and illegal hazardous waste storage and disposal sites. Hazardous wastes included fuels, solvents,
<br /> corrosives toxic metals, herbicides and pesticides. Other contaminates investigated include
<br /> nitrates, sulfates, barite's, and other salts.
<br /> Responsibilities included identification of responsible parties and dischargers, preparation of
<br /> enforcement actions and documents, and establishment of schedules for corrective action.
<br /> Preparation, evaluation and approval of containment, treatment, and disposal of hazardous and
<br /> designated wastes and site assessment and corrective action plans for soil and ground water
<br /> contamination sites. Evaluation of corrective action and establishment of clean up goals for site
<br /> closure in coordination with Regional Water Quality Control Board, Department of Toxics
<br /> Substances Control, and United States Environmental Protection Agency, preparation of site
<br /> closure documents.
