In summary, Kleinfelder's assessment revealed the following
information about the subject site:
F
9.1 FINDINGS
The following sections describe Kleinfelder's findings and provide a general background
information about the site. Findings include recognized environmental conditions, historically
4 recognized environmental conditions, and deminimus quantities, as applicable to the subject site.
Business environmental risk issues are discussed in Section 8.3, Deviations. In summary:
k+ 9.1.1 Background Information
f According to Kleinfelder's interviews, a review of historical aerial photographs and topographic
maps, the site has been farmed from at least 1957 until present.
F4 9.1.2 Onsite Findings
1) On properties with a history of agricultural use, such as the project site, many
underground pipelines may exist. It was common for said pipelines to contain asbestos
€ (e.g. "Transite"pipe).
2 Because of the historical agricultural use of the site, environmentally persistent pesticides
may be present on site.
3 An AST is located near the eastern border of the site.
F, 9.1.3 Off-Site Findings
j 1) According to Ms. Lisa Dowdy, there is one pipeline under CSFMPSO jurisdiction located
approximately 400 feet northeast of the site.
1
{ 2) Two 55-gallon drums and an AST were observed on the property adjacent to the site to
the northwest(20056 West Grant Line Road).
4) According to Mr. Hernandez, a septic system is located directly south of the adjacent
house at 20058 W. Grant Line Road.
55568.P01/ST05R488R/LTV:Iv Page 27 of 30
C0 2005 Kleinfelder,Inc. June 1,2005
f:,Yj
