LIGHT, AIR & SPACE CONSTRUCTION <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES COMPANY <br /> License Number 445403 <br /> R.E.A.Number 04072 <br /> — 6.1 Discussion of Environmental Data Base Review <br /> The subject site is not listed on any regulatory databases. There are no sites revealed by the EDR <br /> search within a one-mile radius of the subject property. LA&S has briefly reviewed the available <br /> information listed in the table above and finds no reason to suspect any environmental impact at the <br /> subject site on the basis of database review. <br /> 7.0 SITE RECONNAISSANCE <br /> 7.1 Site Reconnaissance and Interviews <br /> The subject property consists of a trapezoidal shaped parcel of land of approximately 7.79 acres <br /> improved with a one-story four-bedroom residence of about 2,500 square feet, a swimming pool, <br /> garage shop of about 1,500 square feet and small garden barn of about 800 square feet(see Figures <br /> I and 2). The property is used as a residence and about three fourths of the property is open land <br /> _ to the west of the site structures. The site owner Ms. Joyce Weaver and prospective buyer Mr.Vail <br /> accompanied Mr. Palmer on portions of the site walk. The Weaver family has occupied the <br /> residence since about 1985. Ms. Weaver stated that they are preparing to move and will pack,or <br /> dispose of items and vehicles on the property. <br /> The property is used as a residence with a large open field to the rear(west)of the residence. The <br /> residence was build in 1976,and the garage in 1988. Twelve vehicles were located on-site as were <br /> three truck container boxes(see Site Photographs). The Weavers stated they are using the truck <br /> containers for extra storage of household items and one of the Weaver's sons stores an automobile <br /> _ in one box. The Weaver's sons also perform hobby vehicle work on some of the cars and motors <br /> observed on the property. At least 10 old motor engine blocks and transmissions were observed in <br /> two areas of the yard. Several 5-gallon cans of enamel paint and one sealed 5-gallon can containing <br /> what appeared to be used motor oil were located near the garden building. Some wood and other <br /> rubbish were located to the rear of the garage and garden barn. The garage is used for storage and <br /> small quantities of retail-sized packages of paint, motor oil and motor lube were observed in the <br /> garage. The garage is used for motor hobby and electronic hobby work. The barn is used to store <br /> pre-hung doors and other household items. <br /> A small drainage enters the property from the Hawks Nest Ranch the near the southeastern property <br /> comer,crossing the property to enter a small drainage that parallels Hansen Road.
