Landscaping <br /> Development Title Section 9-1020.5 states that the following requirements shall apply to <br /> all open, off-street parking areas: <br /> • Parking areas shall have a minimum of five percent (5%) of landscaping within <br /> the perimeter of the parking area, not including landscaping along the street <br /> frontage. <br /> • One tree shall be required for each five (5) parking stalls, or portion thereof, and <br /> shall be evenly spaced throughout the parking lot. <br /> • A ten (10) foot wide landscaped strip shall be installed between parking areas <br /> and adjacent public streets. <br /> Screening <br /> Any areas used for storage, including storage areas for trash, shall be screened so as <br /> not to be visible from adjacent properties'and public fights-of-way. Screening shall be <br /> six (6) to seven (7) feet in height. Outside storage is not permitted in front yards or in <br /> front of main buildings. (Development Title Section 9-1022.4[d][2]) <br /> SFCgnS <br /> If signs are being proposed to identify the church, the following standards apply to the <br /> construction of any new signs in conjunction with a development project in an <br /> agricultural zone: <br /> • One (1) freestanding sign per parcel shall be permitted for each street frontage of <br /> the parcel <br /> • Pole signs shall not exceed fifty (50) square feet per sign face and monument <br /> signs shall not exceed sixty (60) square feet per sign face. <br /> • Pole signs shall not exceed twenty-five (25) feet in height and monument signs <br /> shall not exceed six (6) feet in height. <br /> • Freestanding signs shall not be placed closer than seventy-five (75) feet from <br /> any other freestanding sign. <br /> • One (1) attached projecting sign or wall sign is allowed. <br /> • Attached signs shall not exceed fifty (50) square feet per sign face. <br /> • Attached signs shall not project above the ridge line of the building. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1710.4[h]) <br /> • All portions of a sign shall be setback a minimum of five (5) feet from future right- <br /> of-way lines, and shall not block pedestrian or vehicle rights-of-way. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1710.2[g]) <br /> Storm Drainage <br /> Because the parking and driveway areas shall be surfaced, storm water runoff will be <br /> increased. The Public Works Department has determined that the runoff will not be <br /> allowed to drain into South Paddy Creek to the south of the property. <br /> Development Title Section 9-1135.2(c) states that where a development project will <br /> cause an increase in the storm water runoff release rate, the developer shall provide <br /> drainage facilities to prevent the increased runoff release rate of storm water from <br /> 3 <br />
