Depalma Property Page 2 of 12
Our Project Number: LGS080003
January 31, 2008
1.3 Site Vicinity
A site vicinity map is included in the appendix of this report as Plate 2.
1.4 Site Map
A site map is included in the appendix of this report aPlate 1.
2.0 PRESENT AND PAST USES OF THE SITE
2.1 Past and Present Site Use
The subject property was purchased in 1995 by Dominic Depalma from Virgil and Adeleine
Balduzzi. The property was used in the past to grow walnuts. Peaches are now grown on the
property.
3.0 EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE
3.1 Existing On-Site Septic Tank Usage
According to a tentative parcel map provided by Quartaroli and Associates, one septic system is
associated with a residence on each parcel, for a total of two septic systems on the Site.
3.2 On-Site Septic Permit History
Several septic permits were found for the subject property during a recent file review at the
EHD. The permits are included in the back of this report.
3.3 On-Site Septic Repair Permit History
Please see section 3.2 regarding septic permit history.
3.4 Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity
In an attempt to determine the septic system density for the vicinity of the Site, our office
reviewed a recent aerial photograph of the subject property available from GoogleEarth'". We
counted the building clusters within one square mile of the Site, and made the assumption that
each building cluster has one septic system. Using this method, we determined that there is a
minimum of 15 septic systems per square mile in the immediate vicinity of the Site.
The general area consists of agriculture with scattered residences.
3.5 Septic Permit History in the Vicinity
Based on a recent file review at EHD, the septic systems in the area appear to utilize leach
lines.
'-.44
902 Industrial Way•Lodi,CA 95240•209.367.3701 •Fax 209.369.4228 ©2008 Ned 0.Anderson&Associates,Inc
