No wells are <br /> ►� depicted within one-quarter mile of the subject property. <br /> 3.18 Site Reconnaissance <br /> L <br /> A visual reconnaissance of the subject property was conducted on August 31 , 2006. Photographs of <br /> the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. A site visit/assessment checklist is <br /> attached to this report as Appendix D. <br /> The subject property was observed to be a vacant rectangular parcel,with a fence around its boundary. <br /> tin The ground was slightly uneven. The eastern boundary of the property was defined by Hinkley Avenue. <br /> Minor amounts of debris and household trash were observed on the property. Along Hinkley Avenue <br /> a couch,tires, and other household items have been dumped. <br /> r <br /> One pole-mounted transformer was observed across Hinkley Avenue from the subject property. A blue <br /> j PCB-free sticker was not observed on the transformer. <br /> L <br /> Surrounding properties were surveyed at the time of the site reconnaissance. To the north,south,and <br /> west were residences. To the east was Hinkley Avenue,followed by Valley Stucco&Putty Plant Inc., <br /> L several piles of pallets and bags of cement are located on this property. <br /> 3.2 Past On-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> L <br /> No potential above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were <br /> identified from past uses of the site, except for the following: <br /> t_ <br /> • Agricultural chemicals,may have been applied to the property prior to 1963. <br /> 1 <br /> L, Aseptic system existed on the subject property. <br /> L A structure existed on the property that could have contained lead-based paints and asbestos- <br /> containing materials. <br /> L <br /> LsCalifomia Department of Oil,Gas,and Geothermal Resources,well map 606. <br /> E 7 <br /> t <br /> L <br />
