Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report—APN: 157-243-18—To createlve(5)lot size parcels of about equal size,each containing at least 7,680 sq. ft., out of a larger 38,531 sq. ft. parcel. One(1) of the permits listed the soil as hardpan and the remaining fifteen(15) permits listed the soil as adobe. The general area in the vicinity of the subject property presently is afforded sewer service by the East Stockton Sanitary Sewer Project. No animals were seen on the subject property so there does not appear to be any undue nitrate concentrations because of an overpopulation of animals. Maps entitled"DBCP and Nitrate—Land Use" available in the Environmental Health Department's office were consulted and contained the following chemical concentrations information in the area of the subject property: The subject property is in an area where there is no record of a sample being taken to test for either Dibromochloropropane (DBCP) or Nitrate(NO3)concentrations. 3.4 Chemical Use In On-Sit Crop Production: The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office was requested to access their files and report on any recorded restricted product permit applications and product applications by the property owner over the last five (5)years on a portion of the northeast quarter of Section 5, Township 1 North,Range 7 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, San Joaquin County,California. The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office has responded in their report dated May 5, 2004, which is attached to and made an integral part of this �� report,that they were unable to locate any files to indicate that toxic materials had not been placed. 3.4 Current On-Site Chemical Use: There are no structures or buildings present on the subject property where chemicals could be stored for future use. Any chemical storage would have to be accomplished off-site so there does not appears to be any undue (3.3� concern about chemical storing, spilling, etc of chemicals. Also there is no evidence on the subject property indicating that there has been any above or below ground fuel storage tanks being present on the property so there ZJ should also be undo concerns about contamination from leaking or spillage of fuel from storage tanks. 3.4 Off-Site Possible Contamination Contributors: The subject property is in and surrounded by an area devoted to homesite usage and this is verified by the R-L zoning classification..
