Feeding Operations. Grains is stored in two silos in front of the loft. Because of the sensitivity of the birds we could not use the automatic feeding system. This is a very difficult problem to be solved, because, with only about three acres of loft in the middle of thousands and thousands of acres which do not have an effective rodent control yet,how could we do it effectively. Notes: (1) —Our facility will raise pegeons for"food"not for"show", therefore, when we use the term"pigeon", this tern means "pair". Pigeons mate for life and mated pairs normally roost together.
